    	Just as I am reluctant to censor notes I am also reluctant to
    censor meta-notes on what is suitable material for this conference.
    
    	However, I would much prefer to keep the two separate, since it
    makes for easier reading.
    
    	Rather than starting a separate notes file :-

    I will accept such discussions here provided they are either replies

    	As meta-note information, this conference is now just over 25000
    blocks, and the disk it is on is so badly fragmented that it requires 4
    header blocks.
    
    	General activity is fairly evenly spread throughout the day, but
    with a peak of reading around 2a.m. East coast U.S. time (presumably
    caused by batch notary updates).
    
    	In a couple of weeks we expect to move to new hardware, so you
    should expect some unavailability, possibly followed by improved
    performance.

    The lack of activity in this note for more than a year suggests
    that meta-notes might not be necessary.  Opinions regarding the
    interest, usefulness, and possible theoretical importance of
    meta-notes, are now being solicited.  (Opinions about meta-meta-notes
    have to wait until next year.)
