covid - v. to share a video cassette player; to watch television with
    	       one or more friends :-)

I (in agreement with Chambers and Webster's dictionaries) don't think
that it *is* a word. Anyone got the new OED to prove me wrong?

    No, that would be covoid.

| | Isn't "covid" a noun? A combination of "covert" and "vivid"?
You know: someone who *must* be very active, but apparently at times you are not
looking... :-)

No, no, no. That's the technical term for either of two persons who
do nothing. Or possibly two people who have to use the barfatorium at
the same time.

| | Covoid is equivalent to the mathematical expressions

		0 + 0 = 0

and null union null = null

and proves that two heads are not always better than one.

| | According to the Oxford Universal Dictionary, 3rd ed, "covid" is a unit
of linear measurement used in India. It varied from 36 to 14 feet!
Needless to say, it's obsolete.

We were always taught that the covid varied from 14 to 36 feet. Could
this be a feeble attempt at Satanism on the part of some bored
    editor down at the OUD?

| | Whether it varies from 36 to 14 feet, or from 14 feet to 36 depends
on which way the temperature is going.

Hebrew has a word, "cov-ved" that means honor (in the sense of being
honored). It is also used to represent a wide range--roughly 1 to 87
    attaboys.

| | Now you're really mixed up. "Kudos" are either an african antelope
noted for its lyre shaped horn and having a vicious little brother,
or a nauseating psuedofood breakfast bar made of cold gravel and
moose shit all covered with a nice petroleumjelly based faux chocolate.
