Was watching "Crocodile Dundee" last night and at the part where Mr.
Dundee scares off the city cowboys by making them think that a kangaroo
was shooting at them, he drops the kangaroo carcass and says "Good
shooting skippy". I was curious if someone knew the background to
the term "skippy". I know there is Skippy peanut butter, but I hardly
    think that is the same.

There was an Australian TV show called "Skippy" about a boy
and his kangaroo (named Skippy). Something like Flipper, I
    suppose.

| In the Fifites JIF peanut butter, new competitor to Skippy, used a kangaroo for logo. What's the kangarooo connection? Is this an Aussie concept? | |||||
