| It was very impressive to see the sorrow and respect of thousands
of people, both extremely religious and even free-thinkers, following
Rav Auerbach, of blessed memory, to his resting place.
As Yaacov stated before, almost no rabinical figure woud dispute or
contest a ruling by Rav Auerbach, because of his knowledge, the rigour
of his thought, his righteousness.
Most of his rulings were non extremist, being kind to all the people.
It was very moving to see elderly people, with white beards, crying
as orphaned children.
May Rav Auerbach rest in peace. May Israel have other spiritual leaders
of similar caliber to keep on the eternal flame.
