    Did anyone notice the german ice dancers in last night's olympics?  we
    missed the beginning of their program, so didn't get an explanation as
    to why the young man had a tallis and what looked like tefillin on.

|     I saw the dancing and there was one couple who did their interpretation
    of a Jewish folk dance.  I'm not sure if it was the German couple
    though.

| Yes, it was a German team. He's a native born German. She was born in the US and is a naturalized citizen. Their performance was indeed an interpretation of a Jewish folk dance. I don't know if there was any significance (other than liking the theme). Gav | |||||
