My father and aunt are planning a joint trip to Israel next spring (May
1992). They plan to stay approximately 4 to 8 weeks and would like to
rent an apartment in Jerusalem on a short term basis.

My father went to Israel 4 years ago through the Volunteers to Israel
program here in the US. He throughly enjoyed it and had hoped to do it
again. However, due to changes in their regulations his age prevents
him from doing it this time around.

The last time he wnet, through this file I was able to get some
recommendations for short-term rentals. However, since the influx
of Russian and Etheopian Jews I assume that apartments are in short
    supply.

If anyone knows of any real estate agents in Jerusalem who might work
in this area, I would appreciate their names and phone number.

    Thanking you in advance.

    Regards,

    Fredda

| Check the international edition of the Jerusalem Post. I have seen
long and short-term rental advertisements as well as telephone numbers
for agents in the classified section. When trying to help a friend in
the U.S. find a year-long rental recently, it appeared that the prices
listed in the Post were fairly consistent with what friends in
    Jerusalem found.

    Good luck,
    janet
