Has anybody read "The History of The Jews' by Paul Johnson ?
If so.......any opinions ? His previous book was 'The History of
Chistianity'. The reviews I've read seem to be quite positive.

I'm reading it now. Granted, I know very little about jewish history,
but this book does seem to give an objective and favorable and very
detailed account of the jews over 4000 years. I am particularly
impressed with Johnson's abililty to put his information in context at
seemingly every point. You must be furhter along than I am. Any
comments?
