| Baker and consorts are certainly beyond the utter edge of what can be
called 'Christianity', at least from a European point of view. There's
no way that Anti-Jewish resentments arise on any logically thinking
Christian's side because of a Jew buying some estate of him.

You forget that anti-semitism has never had anything to do with logic.
