    	Has anyone heard the Sephardic Song Group called the Voice of the
    Turtle? I belive they are performing Saturday Night (12/3) at a
    theatre in Somerville, MA. The performance is supposed to aired
    on WGBH FM. 
    
    	Does any know how to contact the group to get a schedule of
    their appearances?

    Their 88-89 season contains 17 concerts that I know of, of which
    3 have gone by and most of the balance is in the Massachusetts area
    through April.  Most are at Temples and JCCs.  Some highlights for

       Voice of the Turtle, a group of two men and two women, has been
       around for several years.  They perform mostly Sephardic music,
       with lots of different instruments (many of which they've made
       themselves). 
       
       Their music is certainly different -- their Chanukah concert in
       Somerville last year was played to a packed house, and most of the
       people seemed to enjoy it thoroughly.  You won't exactly be on
       your feet jumping around as you might for a performance by the
       Boston Klezmer Conservatory, but you probably won't be bored,
       either.
