	Hi,
I am searching for a wedding present for friends of mine
who are getting married rather soon (as usual, I have saved
it for the last minute!) I know they are in need of quite
a few of the essentials of setting up a Jewish home--kiddush
cup, spice box, havdalah candle, seder plate, etc.
I am new to this area so I am uncertain where to begin.
Any suggestions where to start? Any range of shops will do--
from the little shop on the corner to some of the more
elaborate places. I have access to the Boston/Southern
New Hampshire area, so I am willing to travel about.
One suggestion that was presented to me was visiting a gift
shop at a synagogue. Any recommendations for synagogues
	in particular?

	Thanks in advance!!
	Steve

If you can get to Brookline, try both the Israel Book Shop and
KOLBO. They are both on Harvard Street and a block from each other.
If you can't find something at either store, you're not really looking.

I believe the shop is on route 9 heading west just after route
    126.

Thanks all for your suggestions. I took a morning and hit all three
shops. Really nice gifts; actually had a tough time deciding, but
I finally settled on a challah plate from Kolbos; nice selection
of challah knives at Sabbath Lights, but couldn't find one to match.
Oh well....better to stick to "breaking bread" anyway.

    Thanks again.
