The local fishwrap has a glowing preview of the tv miniseries "The
Murder of Mary Phagan" (8:30-11 pm Sunday, 9-11:30 Tuesday on NBC:
Boston time). This historical drama is about the trial of Leo Frank,
"a Northern Jew who manages a pencil factory and is charged with the
slaying of one of his workers, a 13-year old girl in 1913 Atlanta."
"It is riveting television fueled by details of time, place, and character
that are exceptional in any medium."
