| | I think Israel Book Store has a small selection of CDs. I do not
know the titiles, since the last time I was in there, I was not
yet a CD player owner. Things have changed, and I would be interested
    in hearing about any CDs.

P.S. Many CDs are really only remakes of existing recordings and
as such, do not sound much better. You have to look for ones that
were digitally recorded originally. This leaves out all recordings
more than about 3-5 years old.

| | I was in the Israel Book Store on Sunday -- they have a bunch of
CDs, mostly the same stuff they already had on cassette tapes (such
as great hazzans singing music appropriate to various holidays,
kids Chanukah songs, etc.) One thing that interested me, since
I like that sort of stuff anyhow, is that Titanic Records now makes
CDs, as promised, which means that the Voice of the Turtle music
is coming out on CD. In fact, I saw a couple of disks there of
it. They play Sephardic music, very interesting stuff, and something
most of us don't know too much about. Oh, another disk I noticed
was that great record of Yitzhak Perlman singing Yiddish songs,
now out on CD (ever go see him in person - he's great!).
