OK....here's a challenge I've been given!
Does anybody have a technical description of the lore of BANSHEES?
What they are supposed to look like / act like?
Long story but I need it for a costume event.

Thats a good questions, based on my memory of my grand-mothers tales,
they would look like witches; grey, withered, maybe dressed in white
and wail a lot (as in crying at funerals).
I forget why they suposedly existed, but I went to bed many nights,
because of my fear that the banshee would get me if I stayed up :=).

All I've heard so far is that they are clan fairies and the whail to
foretell of impending death to a clan member.
But you think they dress in white, eh? I would have thought
black...but that's why I'm asking!

From what I recall, the Banshee is supposed to be a portent of death which wails when anyone with an O or a Mac(Mc) in their name is about to peg it. Also she was draped in black.... Sean | |||||
