I believe the station is WGBH, Boston FM Radio. 89.3FM ?
Low end of the FM dial.

| | Regarding this show - I stumbled onto it a week or two before Christmas
to hear the reading of a great poem. I was driving at the time but
pulled over to write anything I could abou the poem to try to track it
down. The only information I got was the names Mary Hynes and Lamm
Clancey. I tried calling the station but got no real help there, (about
two weeks ago they sent the play list but it was for another week). I
have been to libraries and even tried my inexperienced hand at using
the Internet to try to find the name of the poem or a source for the
record. No luck - but - it was fun to see I could get into the
    University of Dublin library.

Anyway, does anyone know of the poem, or a person who may be an expert
in this sort of literature who may help me run this down.

    Thanks,

| | Why not ask WGBH to give you Brian Donovans phone number and call him
direct. I think he works at Foxboro Stadium (runs it or something like
    that).

| 1452.5 | Isn't WGBH on line yet? | RANGER::HORGAN | Craicailte indiadh damhsa | Thu Feb 16 1995 17:21 | 5 |
| | Was Liam Clancy the person who recited it? I have heard them
(The Clancy Brothers) read poetry and once the beginning of Ulysses
as the opening to a song. Liam had a great voice for recitation.

| | Thanks for the responses. I will look into the possibility of it having
been Liam Clancy of the Clancy Brothers as suggested.

Thanks again, the responses are of great value.
