do they employ? And are they the European headquarters?

    Thanks,

| George,

They are in north county Dublin. Don't know how many they employ.
At the present they are only selling into the UK and Ireland with
plans to sell to the rest of Europe, so the plant here may be the
    european HQ.

| Gateway2000 one of the leading mail-order PC vendors in the United
States. They have the lowest prices among the major mail-order
players. (To give you an example, US$4000 = 90 MHz Pentium, 16 Mbyte
RAM, 500 Mbyte disk, ATI graphics card + 2 Mbyte Video RAM, 17" monitor,
WFW 3.11, & Microsoft Office Professional, Mouse, keyboard, Tower etc...)

They are reportedly lacking in the quality of their monitors
(CrystalScan) and also with insufficient phone support.
Although supposedly, their tech support is getting better. They
just announced 3 year warranties (1 year full, 2 years parts) so
Digital can't bash them as much now...

They're located in South Dakota (I believe) - one of the square
states out west :v) And now have Euro operations in Dublin?
