I think I know the one. I rented it from Videosmith. It was a strange
    one all right.

| | Since Welsh and Breton are part of what is known as Brythonic, as
opposed to Goidelic Celtic then it is not surprising that you would
have difficulty understanding the Spoken Welsh language which is
descended from the Brythonic line of Celtic languages. Scots Gallic and
the Irish Gaelic are descended from the Goidelic line and differ
    considerably in pronunciation and Grammar.

| | Yes, I remember seeing it.

it was broadcast on the Welsh TV channel a few years ago. It's more
poigniant/tragic/funny when you understand the dialaogue!

    Huw.

I saw this in a subtitled version and I remember having a question
about something that was said about one of the movies, I can't for the
life of me recall what it was exactly, but I wish I could've found
somebody at the time who could speak Welsh. I was wondering if it was
    a goof or a mistranslation.

What was the name of this BTW, something about a rose?

Too bad the old MOVIES conference went belly up. I could find the note
where I asked all this at the time.

Dennis, dear. That reply did not parse at all. It reminded me of one of
your contributions to the unlamented ::movies conference :-)
