A new pub down in the Fanueil hall area - or thereabouts.
Its called "Mr Dooley's Tavern" and its run by Michael Sherlock ( another
Galway man). If my info is correct, he is the man that originally
started the Black Rose, then Limericks, then Midnightcourt and now this.
He seems to start 'em up, make a few bob and move on .....
Great Guinness last nite.

They also have Murphys Irish Stout on tap for the Cork crowd.
Not bad.
It's at 77 Broad St. Half way between The Court and Limericks.

Continuing on the topic of "Guinness Watch"
Although not really a new place, the "Littlest Bar" in Boston
on Province St. off Bromfield and next to the Marliave Restaurant
pours a great pint. It is the littlest bar in Boston , holds only 37
people and the telephone's in the rest room. Quite cosy. The keg
is directly under the tap.
It's run by a guy from Donegal named Paddy Grace who bought it
six months ago. He ran a hotel on Donegal and used to manage
the Claddagh. Gets a mix of State House folks, shopers, and
people who work in the area. Closing time is about 1 on weekdays,
and midnight on Saturday. Closed all day Sunday.

Re .2 What is all this claptrap about this being a good pub. I mean its closed when it should be open. And as for being closed all day Sunday. Thats completely insane. Now if you want a definition of a good pub - on second thoughts I had better not MBr | |||||
