The date is correct. What teams will be playing will not be known
until after Easter Monday. Kilkenny have won one of the semis. The
other between Cork and Wexford was a draw. Both matches were played
in Thurles last Sunday. A great day's hurling.

It will be replayed in Kilkenny on Easter Monday. Beidh m ann.
I notice that Cork have made quite a few changes for the replay
    on Monday.

    for the All-Ireland!!

    Yes Cork were well beaten....

Wexford (the victors) were well beaten by Kilkenny. So it's a Kilkenny
New York final. It was a good match up to half time. Kilkenny playing
with the wind were 4 points up at the interval. I was hoping for
    an exciting second half.

However Kilkenny piled on the pressure and ran out easy victors.
There were some nice young hurlers playing on both sides. The person
to really catch the eye was a young 18 year old named D.J. Carey
on the kilkenny half forward line. He is another Eddie Keher in
the making. Also to catch the eye was a Wexford half back called
Liam Dunne. A lovely skilful player.

The Leinster championship looks like it will be interesting this
year as Offaly and Dublin cannot be forgotten either.
