Hello everyone, I am looking for information on where to purchase
Aran Isle yarn to make Irish knit sweaters. I live in Maynard so
anywhere within a 50-100 mile radius would be acceptable. The time
and effort it takes to make one of these sweaters or afghans deserves
only the best yarn. Thanking everyone in advance.

Hi Pat,
I'm not sure about locally, but I've seen yarn in catalogues.
For example, the Blarney Gift Catalogue advertises:
Knit your own Aran. Our 1 kilo pack (approx 35 oz) of Aran Knitting
wool comes complete with knitting needles and pattern. Colours:
Bainin, Kelly Green or Tweed
#122305 $35.00
They guarantee Duty Free Shopping. They also have a toll free order
number 1-800-252-7639 for credit card orders.
I shopped at the Blarney Woolen Mill when I was in Dublin, and was
very pleased with both price and service.
Hope this helps!
