I'd put this in the CD notes file, but I think I stand a better
chance of a reply here. Does anyone know of any Highland Bagpipe
music out on CD? I know that usually only high-volume stuff
makes it to CD format, but I figured it was worth a shot.
Thanks in advance.

I have three CDs that might interest you:
Tommy Scott's Pipes & Strings of Scotland; Scotdisc # CD ITV 362
AAD, good music but not great audio quality.
Scotland, Dances and Dance Bands; Lismor # LCOM 9003
AAD, no pipes, good audio quality. The inseart lists three
other CDs: #9001, The Pipes and Drums; #9002, The Singers and
the Songs; #9004, The Music of a Nation.
The Best of Silly Wizzard; Shanachie # 79048
AAD/ADD/DDD mixture, no pipes, most are good audio quality.
The inseart lists about 60 different CDs by a large number
of different artists.
I found these three in the last two weeks in Dallas. Looking for
more.

| 312.2 | how about that! | BUCKY::MURRAY | Mon Jan 04 1988 13:26 | 3 | |
I already have the Silly Wizard disc, which I'm really enjoying,
despite having most of it on other albums. I'll have to check
the liner notes for the info you mentioned. Thanks much.
