I searched without success in the setup of the Celebris GL5166st how to either disable the boot from the diskette or to change the boot order (C: then A:) Should a boot sector virus infect a NTFS disk or a FAT32 disk it becomes a nighmare to clean !!!! (even a virus which is considered as harmless in a DOS environment) Does anyone have a solution ? Pierre

re: VARDAF::BERBIGIER
Hi Pierre,
The only docs I have are the Celebris GL 5xxx service manual that is on
our web site. (http://pcbu.ako.dec.com/)
In there, it says that in CMOS setup, you can configure Boot Options
--> Boot Sequence to be any of the following:
- A: only
- A: then C:
- C: then A:
- C: only
Looks like that should cover it.
Hope this helps,
/Bill
