Hi,
I have some problems with the Raid 450. The Raid 450 is connected to
two AlphaServer 1000A setup as NT Cluster.
Recently, I have problems of getting INVALID CACHE errors messages
quite often on the HSZ50 redundant controller. Whenever I reinstall the
NT Cluster, quite likely that I will get the INVALID Cache problems
even though I have do a proper shutdown of both Server before I
shutdown the Raid 450.
I have the Raid 450 configured with two HSZ50 with 64MB Cache on each
controller. Could it be a hardware fault on the controller ?
Is there a bug or any patches available ?
Please advise.
Thanks

normally invalid cache problems are encountered by
replacing either the controller module or the cache module without
first shutting them down, sometimes if you use the cswap procedure and
don't follow the steps correctly, you can also generate invalid cache.
If your invalid cache issues are occurring without any external
abnormal events, such as power failures, or replacing of modules, then
you probably have a bad module, controller or cache.
