Dear Sir, I need your help urgently in presales support: HSZ40 dual-redundant configuration, within SW300, connected with KZPSA, OpenVMS Alpha V7.1 forms OpenVMS SCSI CLUSTER: . It's said that "you must connect the dual-redundant HSZ40 to the SAME HOST SCSI BUS" ====> Does it mean can only connect to ONE KZPSA on the host? . If the customer want TWO KZPSA on same host for redundant, with UP TO TWO HSZ40 in SW300===> then the two HSZ40 can NOT be configured in Dual-Redundant mode. Is that correct? in this case, WHETHER A BN21L cable is needed connect the two HSZ40 together? or just plug into the slots in SW300? I'm looking forward to your reply! Thanks ahead! Reg. Helen

Yes; only one adapter per host to an HSZ Controller shelf. Having
one KZPSA per controller to a dual-redundant controller shelf is
not yet supported (by the O/S).

I think the rule is that 2 controllers residing in the same shelf
MUST be in dual redundant mode.
