    SW8MI-AB basically contains 2 numbers of dual HSZ50-AJ, i.e. total of 4
    numbers of HSZ50's each with 128Mb cache.
    
    Now the question is what is the total active cache available - is it
    512 or 256 Mb ??? How many HSZ50's are active at a time - is it all the
    4 are active or inly two at a time other two acting as redundant ones.
    
    Need as much tehcnical clarification as possible.

    each hsz50 works independent of the other in dual controller
    configuration, therefore each has access to 128 mb.  you can
    load balance units across each hsz in a dual controller configuration,
    when one controller fails the other takes over the units that were
    previously on line to the failed controller.
                                               

    Get your Storage rep involved.  He should be able to answer most if not
    all your questions.
