    Could someone provide an update on whether 8mm tapes are supported on 
    the HSJ40/50? The older HSC's supported them but I find no listing of
    HSJ support.

    Please be sure to identify the drive type by name. In the future 
    there may be multiple drives with a common media SIZE (not format or
    media cartridge). With your comment regarding the HSC, the 8mm you are
    requesting status is the 8500/8505 Exabyte. And there are no plan to
    include those drives.
