    Hello ,
    
    Can I have a DEFINITIVE answer . IS DECevent V 2.4 supported on
    openvms for VAX V6.2 and V7.1? I seem to be getting conflicting answers
    from what I've read on the web.

	V2.4 works on both of the systems 6.2 and 7.1 of VAX VMS

            What's confusing is that section 4.1 of the V2.4 release notes
    state that "DECevent is non-operational with OpenVMS VAX V7.0 and V7.1.

   I will fix that mistake. The V2.4.1 kit we are getting ready to ship 
have that section removed.  Sorry for the confusion.

    The OVMS 2.4-1 knl updates that are announced on the DE webpage are
    not readable or not there - gives no such files or directory.

   I will resolve the read problem. I assume the world read function has been
turned off for some reason.

This is my problem. I have a typo on the pointer for that kit. I'll make the change
and the mirror will transfer this at 11:00 MST. liesl
