    The field "d_boot_authenticate" in /etc/auth/system/default controls
    whether the system asks for a username and password when you transition
    the system from multi-user mode to single-user mode and vice versa.
    
    :d_boot_authenticate@:		means don't do boot authentication
    :d_boot_authenticate:		means do boot authentication
    
    The dxaccts application provides the trusted path GUI to this:
    
    From the dxtp menu, select:
    
    ISSO->Templates->Modify System Defaults->Boot Authentication Required
