I know it is not supported in the SPD but has anyone tried making a 
bootable tape on an AS255. I have a customer who has 200's and 255 and 
he wants to be able to use bootable tapes on both types of systems to 
distribute changes to remote systems.

	You can use btcreate to make a tape on any platform, (assuming you have a tape drive :-) ) the issue is whether you can boot the tape that you made - hence, I understand, the statements related to platform support, dS

	Thanks I will see if anyone has tried to boot one in the OSF conf. If it works there it should work on MLS. I do not have access to a 255 or I would give it a shot my self.
