I know of two that are read by most of the Reenactor's locally,
    regionally, etc.

    			Camp Chase Gazette

    			The Civil War News

Both of these publications post local and national events.
I don't have the addresses of them on hand right now, but, I can post
them later. I suscribe to both of them. They are both sorta like a
Reenactor's handbook for events. Bonus, they also have some excellent
articles for readin' on these long winter nights.

P.S. Need any Rebs for that encampment in Acton? I know of a few
hanging around Massachusetts. We make great prisoners. :^) Besides it
makes the event more colorful. :^)

I have the address for The Civil War News. What locale does the Camp
    Chase Gazette cover?

    Probably not, thanks.

    	Re; -.1

What no Rebs needed! Who will tell the truth about the fight
anywho! :^) That's okay, post the dates, I always love to watch them
boys in "blue" drill anyway, right Tom? :^)

    		The address: Camp Chase Gazette
    				P.O. Box 707
    			      Marietta, Ohio 45750

    				Phone: 1-614-373-1865
    				Fax: 1-614-374-5710

The Camp Chase Gazette covers events both small and large all over
    the country.
It would be worth the try, they have posted the June event at
Edaville Railroad at Carver, Ma. So why not? It's read by reenactors
and others from all the country.

I am looking for the publication of the Civil War Society, called
just "Civil War", particularly the March-April 1991 edition.

Can anyone give me an address to write to?

"Civil War", the magazine of the Civil War Society, is published
bi-monthly for $3.95 per single copy by Cool Spring Associates, Inc.,
P.O. Box 770, Berryville, Virginia, 22611. Subscriptions may be
obtained by joining The Civil War Society (at the above address) for
$39.00 per year. Subscriptions without Society membership may be
    obtained for $19.97.

That's from the Nov-Dec '91 issue, which I happened to get because it
featured railroads in the war... :^)

They don't mention back issue availability, but you can always write.

Usual disclaimers apply. The _one_ issue I have had some good stuff in
    it.
