    A customer has asked if /var file system can be located on the shared
    disk in an ASE environmnt.  
    
    Is this possible?

	No, it is not supported to run system disks off of the shared scsi bus. It may work, however, it is not supported. If you wanted to share /var between systems this will not work as /var is system specific. -- Greg [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]
