| My GT Karakoram is now 5 years old and still going strong.

Since buying I have upgraded lots of parts but the bike still looks as
good as new, even though it has taken a real pounding.

Looking at the ammount of replies to this note looks like I am in a
    minority as regards this file.

| I had a GT Tequesta and loved it. It was a bit slow on slow speed
handling but it served me well for a year and a half. Besides being a
tad heavy, it was quite sturdy and took whatever punishment I could
give it. I have nothing but good things to say about my GT. I may
have even bought another one if I had not gotten such a good deal on my
    new bike.
