they look like the baseball cards. There's also 6 or 7 insert sets.

Well...it finally arrived and I dove right in! Here's what I found:
220 cards Series 1. No Gretzky, Hull, Oates, Jagr......must be in
second series...CUTE!
Made a complete set! 31 short of a second one!
Got 11 inserts:
Mario Lemieux Collection (10 cards)
#1 Header card (Big Gold Leaf on the front)
#5 87-88 Hart/Ross Trophy Winner
Hat Trick Artists (10 cards)
#1 Mario Lemieux
#2 Alexander Mogilny

All Star Centers (10 cards) 2 pictures on 1 card (Hologrammed on the
(bottom 4th of the card)
#1 Lemieux/LaFontaine
Painted Warriors (10 cards)
#2 Curtis Joseph
#4 Patrick Roy
Gold Leaf Rookies (15 cards Nice looking cards...Big red reflective
(ROOKIE across the top of the card...)
#3 Eric Lindros
#9 Vladimir Malakhov

55 total inserts...and I don't know if I hit all of them....Don't
think I could get that lucky! Too many for Premiere Issue...

If the jumbo's have more/different inserts, then absurd is not a strong
enough word, we need a phrase to describe this situation. Some like:
Absolutively, positively preposterous!!!!!

| I keep having this dream....Someday we will all be queueing up to buy
packs for an SRP of 4.00. The actual retail will be 12.50. Each
pack will have twelve cards-11 of the cards will be inserts and
one will be part of the regular set.
Then finishing the regular set will be more important than the
insert sets.

NEW INSERT! In the Canadian version of Leaf, there is a signature
series sub-set (10, 5 series 1, 5 series 2)...Have
3 of them...Yzerman, Falloon and another...
Boxes have jumped from $55 to $85 a box up here!

SIGNATURE SERIES: In series 1, I'm only missing one...and was
wondering if someone might know who it is!
I have: Yzerman,Falloon,LaFountain and Gretzky.
Also, does anyone know who all the Gold Leaf
Rookies are? Or do we have to wait until next
week when the new Beckett's comes out!
