I need some advice. Does anyone see a market for 1992-93 Boston
Celtics Gold Team Sets. Yes that's GOLD team sets. I have a
chance to buy the sets for five bucks each-and I would
obviously like to sell them....BUT.....I don't know if there
is a market for them.
Is there a market?
Is there a Market at 5.50?
Whatta you think?
The set incluses Bird, Parrish, Mchale, Lewis + all of the guys.
Any ideas or input will be appreciated.

I would think not. The Celtics from what I have seen, have fallen out
of favor with most collectors. There is not a Super-Star on the team,
and it appears none in the near future, so with just an average team,
with no more Bird, McHale, or Lewis, this appears to be a below average
team for the next 3+ years, with not much national exposure. I would
buy the Team sets of the Majic, and the Hornets, thats were the future
stars are, and the play-off teams of the near future, and you will see
appreciation on players cards on these teams for sure. Besides, ShaQ
cards, and Mourning cards are RED hot with almost all kids.

The set includes Bird, Lewis and McHale. I would think Lewis would
make it hot alone...

I bit the bullet and did it. Four cards helped me make up my mind
Bird, Parrish, McHale and Lewis. The sets are for sale at 6.00/set
+ UPS.
