| Denny, I have this set and also several other reprint sets like this
one such as the 1952 Bowman, 1953 Bowman, etc. They came in a special
box, nicely done by the way. I thought these sets were more true to
the originals than the Topps 1953 Archives being that they were the
same size.
Some people don't like them because they're not original, but then
who can afford the original. Some people also say not to buy them be-
cause there's no investment value in them.
I probably own about 30 different reprint sets and I find myself
looking at these more than the newer cards. They look nice in sheets
and binders.
There's a company that advertises in SCD that sells almost all of the
reprint sets (and also manufactures many of them) called Card Collec-
tors' Co. They sell the 1950 set for 40$. Send mail if you want more
