    In comparison shopping among local dealers for autographed pictures, I've 
    come across pretty wide variations in price. For example:
    
    Ted Williams:  auto. 8 x 10:	$70  to  $135
    
    Joe Dimaggio:  auto. 8 x 10:	$150 to  $255
    
    Mickey Mantle: auto. 8 x 10:        $50  to  $75
    
    I don't know how to explain the variations. The pictures for each
    player are all the same, color, auto'd in the same place in a firm script, 
    framed. All are offered with certificates of authenticity, signed by
    the retailer. And all are offered by merchants who basically have the
    same type of strip-mall type of store, not too much space, so I can't
    see helping to pay that much for the rent.
    
    So, why the wild fluctuations in price, especially on the Williams and
    the DiMaggio ?
    
    What have -you- seen examples from these three go for, if at all ?
