These packs were sent free to dealers who ordered Donruss factory sets.
One pack of two for each factory you ordered. The couple of store
owners I spoke to today had no set retail price for the packs, one
opened all his and priced them up as singles, the other was sitting
on them to see what they were going for.
They are exactly the same design as the Gold Edition Leaf cards
which you get one per pack of Leaf, with the exception that the
back says x of 31, and the stamp on the back has a star around
the normal leaf logo. I think they are nice, but I ain't going
to go crazy trying to collect them, especially since dealers seem
to be thinking $8/pack is cheap (at least the few I talked with did,
one based this on what last years promo's did in price and these
gold Leaf Stars are much rarer of course). right.

| The Ryan lists (on the net) for 50 Dollars. That is stupidly high.
Karl don't forget to add team cards to your collection, and you might
want to think about checklists with his name on them.

I saw a dealer with most of these this weekend, and the highest priced
card he had was Bagwell for $15.
Magazine Exchange (SCD advertiser) is *giving* away a pack of these
(they say it's a "retail value of $10") along with a '90 donruss rookie
set, and 10, yes, TEN, MVP sets from some Donruss set (baseball, forget
which year) with the purchase of a '92 Donruss factory set for $44.95
scarce huh?
