I bought a copy today, being the first Boston edition. In the back
there's a Collectibles column.
Included today are:
Mention of Big Bob's Baseball Cards of Milford CT looking to start
franchises like a McDonald's...
On-dex Co. (800-866-6339) is giving deals on rookie hockey player
cards. Ex. - Score Lindros #440 goes for $400/100 cards. Cards
#441-445 are available for $450 for 100 of each. Or all 600 cards
(100 of each for $800). Comparing the card to Bo's 1990 Score card.
College Classic's Inc (800-955-9660) is putting together a set
of "Michigan Wolverine Classics". Included in random packs
will be (ready for this?) 200 Gerald Ford autographed cards.

This week included an article wondering when the market was going
to become too flooded with the economy the way it is.
3 shows mentioned in the NY area:
Oct 27-28 Gloria Rothstein in Edison NJ. Mantle, F. Robinson, W. Ford,
Kaline, Kiner, M. Irvin.
Madison Ave. #24 - NY's Armenian church (2nd ave between 34th and 35th)
Bench, Morgan, Foster, Perez and Griffey Sr. Griffey Jr. will tag
along with Dad.
Madison Avenue #25 - same place, Nov 17-18, Reggie, McCovey, Yogi and
Dale Berra, Schoendienst, Mays, Lemon and Watson... (why can't they
get a show like that here?)
Mentions Collect-a-books from Proset (I got a Brister demo in the mail
this week with Pro Set Rock Cards, with MC Hammer and Madonna). 3

According to the National, Upper Deck Hockey should begin distribution
Nov. 19th and be in retail stores in early December.
Upper Deck is also sinding cards to Japan in association with the
All-star games over there...
Also an artical on Harlan Werner and AW Sports, who has a boxing
card set out and will have one for Indy car drivers. Will be
producing 12-card sets of Magic, Griffey Jr., Kareem and Rickey
Henderson. (West coast company)
It ends with a brief mention of the Topps traded cards appearing
in wax packs...
