My father recently came to visit, and he was bearing gifts! He
presented me with a special edition Jim Beam whiskey bottle
commemorating 100 years of baseball (1869 to 1969). Seems he
saw them in a liquor store (in 1969) and thought he'd get three,
one for himself and one each for his "boys". I guess he decided
I was old enough to be presented with it without fear of me drinking
the booze or breaking the bottle. Anyway, anyone have and idea of
it's worth? The seal is unbroken and the bottle is not chipped or
damaged that I can see. I's really quite beautifull and looks great
next to some autographed baseballs I have on display. I've aked
around at shows and no one seems to know what I'm talking about.
Just curious, because wether it's valuable or not, it's pricelees
to me!
Thanks in advance for any help,
John D.

RE .1
I'm not sure, but I assumed 1969 because it has 1869-1969 in big
letters on the front. I don't think it would be earlier, though.
Is there any way to determine the correct year by examining the
bottle more closely? I'll look it over and see.
Thanks,
John D.
