    You know, I'm really starting to think that Kristen is played by a
    trans-sexual.  Not that there's anything wrong with that, but she
    really looks kind of masculine.  And she's about 6 feet tall.  She's
    really weird-looking.  Don't you think?
    

    I'd be hard pressed to believe that Drake Hogestyn would play love
    scenes with a transexual.
    

    yes she does have a really weird face. I use to think she was

    If John "marries" Susan (thinking it's Kristen) and he is going to
    "honor" his wedding vows....hmmmmm.....I can see this....John married
    to a lonier loney than Kristen.  
    
    My M-i-l was visiting and we watched DOOl on Monday.  She and I both
    made the same comments....How in the heck can "Susan" keep the blankets
    up to her neck when she is "sweating" so much?  When you are in labor
    "they" make you get up and keep moving until the baby is real close,
    unless you have monitors/iv's/etc.  How in the heck is Susan keeping
    all the makeup on...Didn't anyone notice the "wig"...????  too bogus
    for us....
    
    I love all the "medical" staff giving Susan so much attention.  Come
    on, unless labor and delivery has changed in the past couple of years,
    the only time you see a nurse is to check to see how far dilated you
    are, and the doctor only shows up when it's "TIME".

    Did anyone see Caroline in the City last nite (Feb 18)?  To funny
    a person the show claimed to be Days of Our Lives casting director
    bought one of Richard's paintings, Richard pretends to be dead and the
    casting director shows up at the wake/funeral service.  Caroline's
    neighbor (the actress in CATS) does this thing about Days as a funny
    audition.  Guess you had to see it......

    I watched about 5 minutes of yesterdays show....When did the baby get
    so big?  Looks like a 5 or 6 month old baby.  
    
    I was hoping that they wouldn't do a sick baby thing....my little one
    was/is a cardiac baby.  If you saw/could see all the stuff that cardiac
    babies are hooked up to....I laughed yesterday when the "alarms" went
    off...no leads/wires/tubes hooked up to the baby and "alarms" going
    off.  
    
    btw, in the neo inten care unit...no one wears mask, etc.  The only
    time the wear the mask/gloves is wear handling babies...ie changing,
    giving medicine.  Parents are required to wear the "coats", but not
    those stupid hair things...I "lived" in the neo unit for 8 weeks...give
    me a break....

    baby blood type doesn't match Kristens....in real life this could cause

    if Sammi can't remember the last 4 years she probably can't remember

    I just read in Dustin's page, a big blinking banner that

    There has been discussion on the net about Roman coming back or
    possibly Days killing Roman off.  To any of you that have watched days
    for a long time.  Wasn't there something that went on when John came
    back and them determining that he was Roman that Roman and John have
    the same blood type. 
    
    Here's what I'm thinking.  Roman could be the father of Susan's baby.
    First off, Sammi has been in the hospital since New Years Eve, and
    until the last week or so there has been no discussion about contacting
    Roman.  Actually, don't you think he should have been informed he is a
    Grandfather but that's on another subject.  Also, there is something
    back in my memory bank about Roman and John's blood being the same. 
    And remember that Stefano went and found Susan.  Also, back when Susan
    came into the picture someplace in the spoilers it was mentioned that
    we were going to be surprised at who the father of Susan's baby was.
    
    Now, wouldn't that be something Days would do.  Remember that Roman
    though he was the father of Belle.  Now John thinks he is the father of
    John Jr.
    
    Actually, the reaction of Susan, assuming he is the baby's father,
    would be priceless.

    	You are remembering correctly.  John and Roman have the same blood
    type.  "They" had to do DNA testing with Carolyn and Sean to see who
    was the real John Black.  
    
    	But, If I remember correctly Sammy switched the test results on the
    father of Belle.  The way the writers left it was ?? did she switch
    them, or was she caught first?  
    
    	It would be great to have another male lead character in the show. 
    I'm tired of this m/k/j story line.  
    
    	You know what I really would like to see happen....Diana coming
    back into the scene...(Genie Francis is leaveing GH)...give Kristen a
    real run for her money.  I started watching when Diana was the love
    interest .... those were the "action" days.

    I enjoyed Genie Francis as Diana too.  I thought she had great
    chemistry with Drake.  
    
    Frankly, I'm sick of all the storylines.  This is the only soap I
    watch, but do they all drag on for years like Days does?  I'm still
    only watching about 20 minutes out of the hour every day.  If even that
    much.
    
    I still want them to do something with Mike's character.  I think
    he's really cute!
    
    

    Judging from what I saw when I watch the Soap awards last Friday Genie
    Francis must be leaving General Hospital to spend some time with he
    baby.  She is pregnant and from the look of her not to far from
    delivery.
    
    I read on the intenet there is someone from TV called the SOAPQUEEN
    that was on a TV show called NORTHWEST discussing the poor quality of
    Days.  She is taking input from the soap community in hopes of getting
    Days improve their storylines and characters.  I did something I never
    do and send something to her (I actually had a few minutes available
    this afternoon to do this, quite unusual).

I just read on Dustin's Days Page that you were looking for input from
Days viewers on the quality of the show.

I have been watching Days since back in the 60's.  The storylines they had
back then kept us coming back for more. I started watching Days to be 
entertained.  Now I watch days to aggravate myself!  The writers have changed
the story from entertaining to STUPID.  They have taken the key characters
and turned them into idiots.  Marlena and Laura who were at one time strong
independent women are women without self esteem.  John once an intelligent
member of Salem's police department and businessman has been turned into a 
brainless fool.  I can't even watch the Billie/Bo/Hope triangle.  Billie and 
Hope have been turned into whiners who NEVER smile and spend their day 
down at the dock thinking about how things used to be.

Please Days writers, give us some new storylines and if not new characters
how about recreating some of the older characters.  Mickey Horton could use
some help with his legal practice, how about bringing back Don Craig or 
Chris Kosechek to help him out.  Alex Marshall, Jessica and Marie might
add some life to Salem.  Some interest for the younger viewers might include
bringing back Sarah Horton and Eric Brady.  Mike Horton's son, Jeremy, must 
be a teenager by now, how about bringing him to Salem.  I'm sure Mike could use
some help at the hospital, as he seems to do everything.  Maybe Neil Curtis 
could come back and give him a hand, Neil could bring back Noel who must
also be a teenager or your adult.

Please Days writers, give us some love and intrigue.  We've had enough of the
same old storylines day after day.

    Humm interesting.  Correct me if I am wrong but......
    
    I'm watching today's show and Vivian is having a conversation with John
    about how Kristin is acting so strangely.  So, Vivian says she
    remembers how she felt after she delivered Phillip.  Excuse me but
    Vivian never delivered Phillip, he was Carly and Lawrence's baby. 
    What's up?  I guess the writers think we are stupid again.
    
    Now I don't know how many of you out there have had babies but even the
    easiest delivery leaves some evidence you had a baby.  Now Kristin had
    a baby what a couple of days ago, maybe a week and she is flopping
    around in the skimpy white flowered dress with her SMALL boobs hanging
    out.  The least they could do is have her wear one of those wonder
    bra's or something to make her look a bit larger than normal.  Also
    the dress shows the body shape.  A shape a person who just delivered a
    baby DOES NOT HAVE.
    
    
    Now I read in the spoilers that Marlena and John are going to force
    Kristin into breast feeding Jr.  Wouldn't she have to decide to do this
    if not before deliver then reasonably soon thereafter.  I'd think a
    delay of a week would make it a bit out of the question.........

    Viv did deliver Phillip.  Phillip is Victor's son.  Remember Viv stole
    the egg and had it inserted in herself?
    
    You're thinking of.......can't remember his name but in real life he's
    Eric Von Detten.
    
    But, that doesn't change the fact that the writers think we're stupid!
    
    In regards to Kristin, I don't think its the writers not making her
    boobs bigger or her still having some weight, I think it's the
    character of Kristin who is too vain and tired to keep up the 'act' of
    being pregnant.  I'm sure it'll catch up with her.  It already has with
    constantly refusing checkups.  I think it's all part of the story.
    

    How can someone force someone to breast feed.  First, it's none of
    Marlena's business and frankly, I'm sick of her constantly being there.
    And second, John can ask but all kristen has to say is no way, you want
    the kid breast fed, you do it!
    

    On breast feeding....doctor suggested I make a decision before
    delivery.  You are given "pills" to stop milk production...pills have
    to start within 12 hours of delivery.
    
    For what it's worth....my little on had open heart surgery when she was
    20 hours old....she was in Neo-natal for weeks...sorry, you can't hold
    or feed baby for a few days after open heart surgery.  You can "touch",
    but can't pick up.  When you "touch" you have to wear gloves,
    etc...don't want to pass on anything to baby.

    Is anyboy wondering exactly what secrets did Sami discover about Kate?
    Maybe it has something to do with Bo and Hope...???
    I started watching DOOL not too long ago and I thought Kate was one of
    the good guys.  But then I thought Kristen wasn't bad either.  I don't
    see what's the big deal about her hiding the letter from Marlena (the
    one written by John).  For God's sake she's now John's wife and has his
    baby (as far as he knows), he's not going to throw all that away just
    because she hid the letter?!  I think they're exaggerating the
    seriousness of what she did.
    Now if John discovered that she was never pregnant and was involved in
    the kidnapping of Marlena, I wouldn't blame him for leaving her.

    It's easier to talk about the letter than to list everything she has
    done in the past year.  Even though the letter is real, I think it's
    also a symbol (to Marlena) of everything she has done.  The script is
    bad enough day after day, if they had to add Kristen's list each time
    they talked about her, it would get really ridiculous!

    Since you said you only started watching a short time ago, maybe you 
    don't know the other items on Kristin's list of things that makes her
    evil.
    
    I'm sure I'll forget a few so everyone feel free to add as appropriate.
    
    Kristin told Stefano what plane Marlena was going on (this was kept 
    secret from everyone but John told Kristin) so that Stefano could
    kidnap her.
    
    Kristin knew where Stefano was keeping Marlena prisoner in Paris
    
    Kristin found Marlena's diary that she wrote while in the cage in Paris
    and did not let anyone know she had it.
    
    Kristin used the magic mirror to hypnotise John into going to bed with
    her in Paris in order for her to get pregnant.  Oh, to bad it did not
    work.
    
    And what we know that Marlena does not is that Kristin knows about
    Laura's kidnapping by Stefano and the laser treatment used on her. 
    Kristin let Jack go to jail for Peter's murder even though she knows he
    is not dead.

    Regarding what Sami found out about Kate, I think that the writers have
    not decided what it is yet.  I personally think that she supported
    herself during the lean years while working her way to the top by being
    a prostitute.  How else could she have gone from poverty when she lived
    with Curtis and then homeless and pennyless after he took off with the
    children to a CEO of a company all while taking care of Lucas as a
    single parent and sending him to $$$$$ private school.

    So does Marlena know about Kristen helping Stefano to kidnap her?  I
    thought all Marlena know of Kristen's devious doings was hiding the
    letter John wrote to her.  That's why I thought that Kristen's fear of
    Marlena telling John "the truth" is exaggerated.  Anyone want to fill
    me in on that?

    Yes Marlena knows about about Kristin's doings.  I think Laura does
    as well.  Some of the evil deeds they found out about when they
    used a drug on Kristin/Peter's mother and she told them.  Marlena found
    the diary among Kristin's things.  John told Marlena that Kristin knew
    about her going on the airplane and Marlena confronted Kristin.  The
    Paris thing is a bit vague to me Kristin was actually down in the cave
    where Marlena was being held in the cage.  Not sure if Marlena actually
    saw her there.

    Don't know if anyone has watched Tuesday's show, but I did.  Salem is
    greeving over Roman's death but Marlena made an interesting statement
    to John, "I need Eric here with me".  I guess that opens the door and
    we should be seeng Eric in Salem very shortly.

    Didn't someone say, or maybe I read it somewhere, but I believe he's
    supposed to make an early summer entrance.  I think they are currently
    casting for his role.
    
    Speaking of yesterday's show, it cracked me up when Franco told Hope
    that although he has never met Roman, people told him about him and he
    sounded like a nice guy.  BULL! No one has ever mentioned Roman to
    Franco.  There is no reason too.  Another point for the writers writing
    for the moment.  I wish they wouldn't waste our time.  Franco didn't
    need to say anything.
    
    And speaking of Franco, because I fast forward through 99% of F/H/B/B,
    do you know if Franco is still taking/making mystery calls to his boss?
    Was this person ever revealed or did the writers drop it as if months
    and months of this storyline never happened.
    

    I also FF thru the Bo/Hope stuff but I've seen it mentioned in some of
    the discussion pages on the web that No all of a sudden that story
    about Franco and his boss seems to have been stopped.

    I wish they would bring Patch back, but Patch is at work on another
    soap.  Saw on ET yesterday that ? Evans who used to play Patch and 
    Jack's sister Adrian who now is on AW gained 70 extra pounds while 
    pregnant. They have written her wait gain and now wait loss into the story.
    
    I watched Friday's show last nite.  Finally a show that I did not fast
    forward almost all the way thru.  Now I'm sorry I did not tape Monday's
    show aired at 3:05AM.

    GH update, they area pairing up Patch and Kayla  (Stephano and
    Katherine) on GH... as we speak.  He is married to another person
    but starting an affair with Katherine.  They still have great chemistry
    playing off each other.  Interesting to watch, I try and catch the
    show a couple of time during the week.
    
    

    Not sure what will be happening with Days in the greater Boston area
    today (Channel 7), as Rick Pitino will be having a press conference
    aired live at 1PM today.  I heard this this morning on the news.

    Kristen wants to "renew" her vows to John so they can legally be
    married.  No way, no how...  If John is married to Susan (legally, on
    paper...has Kristen name, but married Susan)...how can she re-new. 
    Doesn't that make John a bigamist (not counting, dumb, stupid,

    See, and I'm thinking that because it's Kristen's name on the marriage
    license, that she is legally his wife.  It doesn't matter who said the
    words, it's whose name is on all the legal documents.  And that would
    be Kristen.
    
    It's about time they did something with Mike.  And starting it off by
    putting him in that blue suit was a wonderful idea.........!
    

          John is not married to Kristen or Susan.  The whole marriage is a
          sham because of false pretenses.  Kristen signed the papers but
          Susan said the vows.  Anyway John married Kristen/Susan in the
          hospital because of the baby that really is not his.  I don't
          think the marriage to either one would hold up in court. IMO

          Saw Drake and Eileen on the Today show yesterday.  They talked
          about how Eileen is playing Susan's sister, the nun, coming soon.  
          That John knows all along about the deception (as Drake rolls his 
          eyes and laughs) we know he is only kidding!   
          Eileen's contract goes until December.

    Let's hope that Marlena and Kristin don't stay locked in the basement
    room until December while Susan pretends to be Kristin.

    Possibly the powers that be got the hint at last nite's Emmy awards
    where the only one received by Days was for hair and make up.
    
    Hair and make up must have been to prevent a total loss by Days. 
    Because IMHO the hair on Days is about as good as the writing......

    Did you notice that Kristen's hair was all narly and matted and

    Yes, I noticed that and I just attributed it to
    the usual state of Kristin's hair but you are right
    Marlena won the round.
    
    I also laughed out loud when they were thee holding
    on to eachother "hugging" watching John and Susan.

    I don't understand, other than that's they way the writers wrote it,
    why Viv did not realize that it was Susan.  Especially after she has
    already experienced Susan dressed as Kristen.  She acted as weird 
    yesterday as she did the first time Viv met her at Salem Place.  You'd
    think she would have picked up on it right away.  But like I said,
    that's they way the writers wanted it.
    
    I also liked the look Mike gave yesterday when (I think) he realized
    that he may be feeling more than friends towards Carrie.  I think it
    was when he was talking to Jennifer.  After he walked away with that
    look on him face, she kind of smiled like she thinks it too.  I know I
    want it.  If my boyfriend was as wimpy and whipped as Austin, he would
    have hit the road a very long time ago!
