Have any of you out there experienced a problem with game cartridges
showing wavy lines and the jitters?

We had this with a game called The Immortal, but not with any other
game, either new or rented. We actually bought the game twice. The
first one was second hand from a store. We returned it. They cleaned
it. It still did the same thing.

We've since bought a control deck and cartridge cleaner. This did not
fix the problem. We tried firmly seating the cartridge in the contol
    deck. No luck.

    Running out of ideas.

Call the Nintendo or the company that makes it and describe the
problem they might have a bunch of bad game packs out.

| Another solution might be the game deck itself. When Silent Service was
released, it caused similar problems on some decks. Nintendo replaced
the decks for those people that were having these problems. Something
to do with firmware I think.

| You're not going to believe this, but it is your TV.

I purchased the Immortal twice also. First time was second hand. When
I brought it back, the guy said that he's run into this before and that
it's the TV. He showed me that it worked on his system/TV combination.

I of course didn't believe him, and figured it was my deck or a flaky
cartridge that happened to work at the store. So I bought a second
copy new. Same problem. I figured that it was firmware/deck problems.
However, over Christmas I brought my deck and games over to my
relatives to entertain the kids. The Immortal cartridge worked on
    thier TV.

Don't know why. This is the only cartridge I have seen this with.
