| I'm still undecided. I've only beaten SMB + Metroid -- but:
- I was never a real arcade fan, maybe a C-note's worth my whole life.
- I have a family that includes a wife, 3 kids, 3 dogs (not the kids) and
(until recently, ref:kids) a few fish.
- I never play more than a couple of hours at a time.
That said, I'd say it took me about 2 weeks to beat metroid and about a
month to beat SMB.
For my lifestyle, the games seem fairly suited. Hard enough to not
be a waste of money but easy enough to not lose my attention.
Guess it really depends on YOU.

| I have yet to beat any Nintendo game. Granted "I'm not allowed" to play
more than an hour or so a day, but I find these games more than
challenging... Of course, my motor coordination is such that one of my
childhood nicknames was Charlie Brown... Actually, I LOOK for ones
that people complain are too easy!

| The only games I enjoy are those like in .1 (Hard enough to not be a
waste of money yet easy enough to keep my attention.)
I solved ULTIMA. Play ZELDA I.(made it through both quests after
about 2 months) And am addicted to TETRIS. (wait a minute I see and
"l" shape that'll fit....) Oh! I'm sorry must of lasped into last
nights game.

| Anyone who thinks that the Nintendo games are to easy should go and
buy a Nec. Turbografx-16. Then buy R-type. That will put and end to
all talk about home video games being easy!! Damn hardest game I've
seen anywhere, including the arcades! Grrrrrr!

| Nintendo games too easy??? Nyuk Nyuk...with almost being blind in
one eye and hard of hearing in another, having the anticpation of
a large lizard skin'd giant sloth, and the reaction time of a large
body of congress...no... I wouldn't say Nintendo games are too
easy. I have the Mario Bro's and Duck Hunt game from the original
set, and have rented about 10+ games...haven't beat any of them
yet...so the level of play suits me just fine.
I sure would like to see someone beat any game in person...it
would be a great learning experience for me.
