| Mike,
my son has been playing 1943 since Christmas and he would very much like to
know some of the tricks that you used to get so far. Right now he is trying
to beat level 3 (AYAKO-1) and could use a few tips on how to send the plane
down in flames. So far he has had both engines afire, but got killed waiting
for the plane to drop.
Do you have any advice?

SPOILER FOLLOWS
TO DO GOOD AT THIS GAME YOU SHOULD HAVE TURBO. THE WAY I KILLED
THE PLANE WAS TO PICK UP THE WEAPON THAT SHOTS BULLETS IN EVERY
DIRECTION. WITH THAT I WENT TO THE LEFT OF THAT PLANE HALF WAY UP
THE SRCEEN AND HELD THE TURBO BUTTON TO FIRE. THAT PLANE WAS EASY
TO KILL. JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COLLECTED ENOUGH TIME. TO GO IN
THE HIGHER LEVEL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MASTER GETTING THE DIFFERENT
WEAPONS AND TIME.

| Is this different than 1942? I have a game called 1942 and I don't
like it at all.
This doesn't sound like the same game (1943 that is).
What gives?

In the arcade 1942 is alot different than 43 being that you
have energy rather than # of planes, there is no loop button in
43 but there is a zap button (which drains some energy). I prefer
to play 43 over 42.

| Thanks for all the advice. We'll try it this weekend. I believe my son
has already gotten past this level by some other means.
Unfortunately, I hog the NES playing Soloman's Key.

| Wel everybody, I think the game is fun and I think the graphics are
excellent. I have beaten the game. The only letdown is the ending. You
work so hard and then all that is said is congradulations.

If you hold the b button down for a few seconds then let go you get a
super bullet ehich is great for ships.

| Those passwords would probably not work on someone else's game.Each
cartridge is "programmed"with certain things.I've made it up to
23 and my password began with ty***.I deepends on what speacail
abilities you have for your plane.
I got a book that has some passwords that works.I'll try and remeber
to post them tomrrow.

| THERE IS ANOTHER WEAPON THAT IS VERY HELPFUL. IT IS THE SHOTGUN.
IT'S PRIMARILY FOR DEFENSE, BUT IF YOU GET TWO OF THESE BEFORE THE
SPECIAL TIME LIMIT RUNS OUT ON THE FIRST ONE, IT WILL BECOME MORE
POWERFUL.
