I just learned about this... The International Conference on Industrial and 
Applied Math will be held in Washington, DC July 8-12 '91. Right in my back 
yard. I don't have a program yet, but I plan to be there.

DEC will be in the exhibits area, in numbers. MAPLE, Mathematica, DEC AVS, 
MasPar, & MIT's Visual3 will be on display.

If anyone else is coming, let me know by E-mail. Maybe we can get a local 
Math dinner going...

    Could you supply a few details, e.g. where exactly (hotel, Convention 
    Center, etc.) will the conference be?  Registration cost?

The conference will be at the Washington Sheraton, on Woodley Rd off Conn. 
Ave in NW Wash.

Registration is $230, the reception (dinner Wed. PM) is $38, access to
exhibits is $10 (probably included in registration). DEC's suite will be
open Tues. 8-10 PM for schmoozing. 

It's going to be a busy place. The Speakers' list includes about 1600 names!
