Am I correct in assuming that in this enormous global network there
is *still* no basic, free, public-domain available software package?
(Excepting Gilbert's Matrix package).
At the moment I'm looking for some curve-fitting routines. But
there are so many free packages "out there" it's a bit annoying
that we don't have anything "in here".
