| I think "cooked" is the wrong word. I assume you mean you solved the puzzle. I learned a different meaning of "cooked". Apparently, someone named "Cook" or "Cooke" discovered a defense or an alternate solution to a published chess problem by a reknowned chess problem creator (Lloyd??) thus making the problem invalid. Since then, whenever someone discovers a flaw in a chess problem, the problem is said to be "cooked". But you didn't mean that here, right ? Anyone else have details on the origins of the term "cooked" in terms of chess problems ? /Eric | |||||
