   Inspired by recent mentions in this conference of Srinivasa Ramanujan (sp?),
I was moved to read "A Mathematicians Apology" by G.H.Hardy again. However I was
unable to find a copy in the local library. Does anyone know if this book is 
in print and if so where it is available?

   I also seem to remember that there was an excellent biography of G.H.Hardy
in a collection of essays by C.P.Snow. If anyone has details of this as well
I would be extremely grateful.

    Ask your librarian to try to find you a copy.  They should be able to
    get a copy of anything through interlibrary loan.

	And yes, Hardy's book IS still in print; there's a copy of it
	in the math section of my favorite local bookstore.  Let me
	know if you need publication-data to order it or anything.

        Chris,

        as stated in another note, you might not be able to watch the
NTSC videotape on your SECAM equipment. Unless of course you have an NTSC
VCR and a TV....
