Do we have MACSYMA running anywhere on the net?
Do we have any similar symbolic math programs?

MACSYMA is running on one of the AI U**X machines in Hudson. I have access to an old and somewhat buggy version. SMP is also available on a machine in Marlboro; CURIUM::, I think. But MAPLE is available net-wide and licensed to all DEC VAXen. It can be obtained from the Software Tools Clearinghouse, but you will have to buy your own documentation (about $18). If you are not familiar with the "ToolShed", send mail to METOO::TOOLSHED. Lynn Yarbrough | |||||
