| | I don't think you could call Weightwatchers a 'fad diet'! They teach
you to eat the correct food, and limit the bad stuff. The problem
is not with the diet - it's with the willpower, (or lack of it!) I do
agree 'fad diets' are bad for you, but WW's is not that!

    Hi,

I know I am a bit late in replying, but I have only just read the
notes. I started the Slim and Trim programme by Weight Watchers 4
weeks ago and so far I have lost 12 pounds in weight.

It is truly not a FAD diet, but very sensible eating indeed. To put
things into context, I want to lose about 2 stones but with my 12 pound
loss so far I am well within my weight range now but would prefer to be
    slimmer.

I've also noticed that I have more energy than before and my nails have
stopped peeling and breaking already. It doesn't take a great deal of
willpower as you fill up with vegetables and fruit, there is plenty of
variety in the meals and you are allowed 500 extra calories to eat as
you wish per week after the first two weeks. This stops you feeling
too deprived and allows you to have whatever your 'thing' is ie.
biscuits, icecream, crisps etc, but a limited amount.

I would certainly recommend it, hunger pangs can be stopped by making
their vegetable soup which is classified as almost unlimited and eating
more steamed, poached or boiled vegetables.

    cheers,

    Adele
