Anyone have any information on weight gain on the Pill (ie: oral
contraceptives?) I know weight gain is a known potential side effect,
but the information I've seen doesn't go in to any details such as - is
it a one time weight gain (assuming your eating stays the same) and you
just settle out at a somewhat higher weight (how much?) or do you keep
going up? Does your need for food decrease permanantly? Do you adjust
after a while? Etc.
Thanks.
D!

Weight gain used to be a real problem on the old-style high-dosage
pills. The "new" (i.e. since 1978 or so) mini-pills should result
in little or no weight gain.
The mini-pills have a lower dose of the hormones that caused the
weight-gain problem.
