Does anyone have the formula that computes calories burned given
weight, type of exersize(specificly bicycling), distance, pace, ect.
I am helping a friend write a program that tracks this for our bicycle
club.

I just received some documentation from my nutrition classes.
It is based on Calorie expenditure per minute for various activities
including stairs, swimming, bicycling, dance, skiing, etc. I have put
a couple of notes, but you're welcome to a copy. Drop me a line.

This last reply wasn't very helpful. I used to have a list of the
number of calories burned per minute of different types of exercise.
Is there a version in here or on-line somewhere?

I have the information at home. I'll try to remember to
bring it in.
BTW, it's from the UCAL Berkeley Wellness Encyclopedia - a
quite useful resource.
